We started Three Goats Coffee Company because we wanted to create a meaningful job opportunity for our son, Nolan who has autism. We hope that 3 Goats Coffee Company is going to be part of the solution to a really big problem which is that over 80% of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities remain unemployed nationwide.

We started Three Goats Coffee Company because we wanted to create a meaningful job opportunity for our son, Nolan who has autism. Over the years, I learned that the best way to solve the problems that come with raising a child with special needs is to create the solution. That’s where the idea for Three Goats Coffee Co. was born. We are a home cottage food business for roasted gourmet coffee. Three Goats Coffee Co. was created out of our family’s love for Nolan and our desire to see him succeed and reach his full potential.
The Three Goats represent our three children that we have always affectionately referred to as our three goats because my husband, Dan, and I were both born in the Chinese year of the Goat. We have big plans, and our goal is to grow to a point where we can create more jobs and opportunities for those within the special needs community. Your support is bigger than just buying our coffee. It is part of the solution to a huge problem in our country which is the very limited offerings for adults with special needs who want to contribute to their communities and allow for the dignity that they deserve. Thank you for your support!
Our mission is threefold:
1. To bring attention to the challenges that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities face in finding meaningful work and ways to engage and participate in their communities.
2. Sourcing coffee that impacts the livelihoods of coffee farmers across the globe through our commitment to paying equitable

The COCAGI (Coopérative des Caféicultureurs de Gishoma) cooperative operates in the Rusizi District of the Western Province of Rwanda. COCAGI, established in 2004, is one of the oldest cooperatives in Rwanda. In 2018, the cooperative established their first women's group, Agasaro, which means "precious bead" or "pearl." Women in the cooperative are trained both as official cuppers and in environmental practices to help maintain the cooperative's Rainforest Alliance certification.
The light roast has a hint of sweetness with subtle floral notes of honeysuckle.
This is an amazing coffee and is a real crowd pleaser!
Limmu Kossa Estate is a large, family-owned farm located in the Jimma Zone of the Oromia Region in Ethiopia. The farm was established in 2000, and currently produces coffee on 356 hectares across two farms, employing around 700 people during harvest. Ethiopia Limmu Kossa is an exquisitely bright and delicate coffee, full of dynamic floral notes and layers of sweetness. It has a balanced citric acidity. This is a unique, versatile coffee that can be enjoyed and brewed in a multitude of ways.
Lighter roast styles are lively yet complex, with notes of bergamot, wildflower honey and Meyer lemon.
The Limmu Kossa is excellent at a darker roast. It has lots
of body and sweet notes of honeycomb, milk chocolate and sugarplum.
Tolima, Colombia has been known more for violence in recent decades than specialty coffee. That narrative is changing with the dedicated work of producer groups like ASOPEP which has become one of the most professionalized cooperatives in the region offering consistent, world-class coffees year after year. Not content with just producing excellent coffee, ASOPEP is also a force for good in the region. This is a bright, expressive coffee that is wonderful in light and darker roasts!
Light roasts feature a bright acidity that evoke a fresh white peach, paired with a rich sweetness and a smooth, velvety texture. Other, more subtle notes of dulce de leche and raw sugar enhance its sweetness.
The acidity softens in darker roasts which reveal notes of
date, fudge, and toasted marshmallow.
Sumatra Kerinci comes from members of the Koerintji Barokah Bersama Cooperative who live and farm at the foot of Mount Kerinci. The Sumatra Kerinci is a very lively and expressive coffee and features diverse flavors in every roast. The diversity of flavors in the Sumatra Kerinci make it a perfect choice for any type of brew!
The lighter roast features notes of citrus with a hint of a toffee dazzle.
Darker roasts reveal deep layers of chocolate, toasted
almonds, and brandy.
